The plenary part continued with the most current and critical topic of the coronavirus infection: “COVID-19 - mathematical models and predictions. Open Science”. In addition, listeners could also join the discussion. The coronavirus disease reports showed once again the desire of the academic staff of FMI for research contribution to the most current topics of global importance.

The afternoon part of the Spring Scientific Session went on with 10 parallel sessions in the fields of mathematics, informatics and information technologies. The activity results of the big project "Universities for Science, Informatics and Technologies in the e-Society" (UNITe) and the research of the Big Data for Smart Society Institute (GATE) were also discussed.
