The main goal of the Master’s Programme in Computer Graphics is to prepare specialists in the following three main areas: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), CAD-CAM systems and computer games. These are areas of prominent influence on the Bulgarian software market. Direct cooperation with leading companies from the above mentioned areas is envisaged. This cooperation will be carried out by organzing targeted trainings on the subject.

Focus, educational goals

The Master’s Programe in Computer Graphics is aimed at bachelors who have completed the courses in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Systems and Technologies or courses related to them, and have basic knowledge in the areas of Algebra; Geometry, Mathematical Analysis; Object Oriented programming; Functional or Logical Programming; Databases; AI; Computer Architectures; Computer Networks, etc.

Other graduates are expected to attend additional courses to provide them with basic background training.

The educational objectives of the program include mastering in-depth theoretical knowledge in the classical and some modern areas of computer graphics and learning a variety of practical skills related to the application of computer graphics methods and techniques in a wide range of fields of Informatics and Information Technology.
