The main educational goal of the doctoral program is the training of highly qualified researchers in the field of Software technologies, who have the knowledge and skills to solve complex problems of scientific and applied scientific nature.

The training and research activities in the doctoral program contribute to the derivation of new results in key areas of theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of Software technologies such as:

  • software engineering: approaches for choosing web services and composition of web services, architectural frameworks for dynamic composition of web services, approaches for testing business processes and for testing compositions of services, methods for optimization of software processes, methods for design and formal analysis of software architectures, methods for building dynamic software architectures and autonomous software systems, agile methodologies for software development;
  • information retrieval: intelligent search and information retrieval from document collections, knowledge discovery in data and text, automated assessment of the veracity of statements, methods for automatic extraction of subjective information from text, approaches to automatic extraction of arguments from text;
  • knowledge management: methods for designing knowledge management systems, design of new ICT solutions for knowledge audit, developing and implementing strategic solutions for effective use of knowledge and innovation.
