The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” offers a 6-month Postdoc position in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a possibility for extension in the next two years. Starting date is July 1, 2023. The working language is English or Bulgarian.
The position is partially funded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science under the Bulgarian Scientific Programme Enhancing the Research Capacity in Mathematical Sciences (PICOM).
The candidates will work in the field of Algebra and number theory, Group representations, Group algebras, Coding theory. Before applying, a contact with a host faculty supervisor should be established.
